Then they add $100 "incidentals" deposit to your bill even if you pay with a credit card. I've paid that much for a NICE room in a fancy hotel in New Orleans but NEVER thought it would cost so much in a crappy casino 15 miles from the nearest store. Sadly, it did not.ĭon't stay here unless you like wasting $$$!!! $249 gets a room with barely working A/C, dust everywhere, NO HAIR DRYER, No mini fridge and a basically a sheet about as thick as a good flannel shirt for a "comforter". As much as we spent in the casino, stores, restaurants, and Newkirk itself, our lodging should have given us a good nights sleep. Suffice to say, that I and my companions, (who are well versed travelers by the way), will not be seeking lodging at Seven Clans on our next visit. Ocean View? Come On! There are several other complaints gathered during our stay, but I will end here. More Trash containers desperately needed and Bigger! Bugs in both Bathrooms. No Vent Fans in either Bath Room! Sparse furniture for rooms of that size. Finally got one but was to big for microwave. "Right away", was reply! Two and a half hours later, still No microwave. Room was also supposed to have a microwave. Even though we were told room was being cleaned at that moment, (11 am), we were not notified until 3 hours later. Requested early bird check in due to medical condition. To many to list, but I will highlight a few. Well, I have to say I am extremely disappointed in my first stay at this establishment! Numerous problems from the time our party of 4 checked in, until we checked out.
